AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) are available throughout the Parks.
About AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators)
An AED is an emergency medical device for assisting someone whose heart has stopped. When the power is turned on, audible prompts guide the user. When the AED pads are applied to the victim, an electrocardiogram is automatically analysed. If required, the AED prompts the user to press the button to deliver an electric shock to restore the regular heartbeat.
Who can use the AED?
In an emergency, anyone in the vicinity can use the AED.
Besides using the AED, what else should be done?
If an emergency occurs, please contact the nearest Cast Member who will then make arrangements for prompt emergency treatment.
