2010 Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassador
Yuna Omiya
|
|
The first Disneyland Ambassador Program began in 1965, when Walt Disney found himself increasingly busy and realized he needed someone to represent him at various ceremonies, to make presentations on Disneyland Park, and to show special guests around his "Magic Kingdom."
Today, the Disney Resorts around the world select Ambassadors to conduct a variety of activities on behalf of their fellow Cast Members. The Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassador is selected from the more than 10,000 Cast Members of the Tokyo Disney Resort. The Ambassador, inaugurated each year on January 1, serves through December 31.

The key activities of the Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassador include:
Introducing the Tokyo Disney Resort to the public through promotional and publicity events
Visiting hospitals and other social welfare facilities
Paying a courtesy calls on VIPs, participating in community events and hosting VIP guests, including heads of foreign countries, at the Tokyo Disney Resort
