Frequently Asked Questions

Joining the Club

Q.Are there any requirements for joining? Can persons under 20 join?
A.Anyone who resides in Japan and is a fan of the Parks can join. Persons under 20 must get their parent's or guardian's approval before joining.
Q.Can a person have more than one membership?
A.Yes, the same person can join multiple times. Membership dues will be collected for each membership.
Q.How long will it take for my member's card to arrive after I apply?
A. If you apply with a credit card, your member's card will be sent to you within 2 or 3 weeks. If you apply by mail, it may take longer.
If you choose bank transfer as your payment method, in about two weeks you will receive a payment slip which can be remitted at any convenience store. After the payment has been remitted, it will take about 2 or 3 weeks for your card to arrive.
Q.Can I choose my member ID?
A.Member ID's are selected by the system and cannot be chosen or created by the member.
Q.How can I apply entirely by mail?
A.You can select "Apply by Mail" on this Website or you can contact the "FUNderful Disney" Office and request an application be sent to you.

Payment of Annual Dues, etc.

Q.How do I pay my annual membership dues?
A.Payment can be made by either credit card or bank transfer. The official credit card of Tokyo Disneyland Park and Tokyo DisneySea Park is the JCB Card, but other major credit cards such as VISA and MasterCard are accepted.

Credit Card payments must be made in a single installment. Please remember to update your expiration dates.

Bank Transfers can be made by taking the payment slip to a convenience store and remitting the money there.
Q.Can credit card payments be made in multiple installments?
A.No, credit card payments must be made in a single installment.
Q.Can I use a credit card other than my own?
A.No, the credit card holder must be the member.
Q.Can I pay for my whole family through my credit card?
A.You can pay for your whole family through your credit card, but the names on the Member's Cards will all be the name of the credit card holder.
If you would like to have individual names on your family's Member's Cards, we suggest using the bank transfer method for each member of your family.

Member Benefits

Q.Can I receive multiple copies of the newsletter?
A.We're sorry, but only one copy of the newsletter can be sent to each member.
Q.How many newsletters are you planning to publish this year?
A.We still have yet to determine the exact number of volumes we will publish per year, but we are currently planning to release a new volume each season.
Q.Can I receive back issues of the newsletters?
A.We're sorry, but we cannot send you back issues of the newsletters.
Q.Please give me more information on the Fan Club programs you are planning to hold in the Parks.
A.At this time, we plan on offering limited-time Passports at special prices and original merchandise. These programs will only be offered to Fan Club members. There will also be Members-only parties given periodically in the Parks. Please note that attending these parties will require separate purchase of a Passport and party ticket.
Q.About when will the member programs begin?
A.As soon as the programs' start dates have been decided, we will notify all club members through the newsletters.
Q.Can I combine the benefits of group passport offers or the Magic Kingdom Club when purchasing passports through one of the Fan Club programs?
A.You can use the group passport benefits, but not the benefits you would receive from the Magic Kingdom Club, when purchasing Passports through Fan Club programs.
Q.How do I get the original merchandise offered in Fan Club programs?
A.If you go to selected locations in the Parks and show your Member's Card, you will be able to receive the merchandise at no extra charge. However, you must purchase your Passport for Park entry separately. You cannot enter the Park by showing your Member's Card, and the merchandise cannot be picked up outside the Parks or sent through the mail.

Changing Member Information

Q.I'm going to live abroad. Can you send the newsletter to my new address?
A.We're sorry, but the services offered by FUNderful Disney are available only within Japan. If there is a domestic address you would like the newsletters sent to, we will be happy to send them there.
Q.Can I change the personal information I gave you when I initially applied to the club?
A.You can change some information, such as your address and telephone numbers, by accessing the members' pages of this Website. Information which cannot be changed on this Website, such as name and birth date, can be altered by contacting the "FUNderful Disney" Office.
Q.Can I change payment methods?
A.To change payment methods you must fill out a special form. To have this form sent to you, please contact the "FUNderful Disney" Office.
Q.How do I cancel my club membership?
A.If you contact the club by phone by the end of the month 4 months prior to your membership expiration date, your club membership will end on your membership expiration date.
Q.I would like to cancel my club membership for personal reasons. Can I get a refund on my annual dues?
A.We're extremely sorry, but we cannot refund membership dues for any reason.

Common Problems

Q.I lost my Member's Card. What should I do?
A.Please contact the "FUNderful Disney" Office and we will issue you a new card (there will be a handling charge). Furthermore, your Member ID will be changed, so you will be required to register a new password on this Website.
Q.How long will it take for my Member's Card to be reissued?
A.If you applied with a credit card, your new member's card will be sent to you within 2 or 3 weeks. If you applied by mail, it may take longer.

Q. I've forgotten my password for the Members' Pages. Can you tell me what it was?
A.For security reasons, we refrain from giving out passwords through email, over the phone or through fax machines. Therefore we ask you to please create a new password.
Q.This Website said it would send me a confirmation email once I finished registering, but I have yet to receive it. Is anything wrong?
A.You may have given some incorrect information during the registration process. Please login to the Members' Pages and click on "Change My Member Information." Make sure the email address you gave is correct.
