Mediterranean Harbor

  • DisneySea Transit Steamer Line

  • Venetian Gondolas
    Type: ride (boat) / duration: about 11.5 min. / gondola capacity: 16 persons
    • Guests must negotiate an arched bridge with 20 steps to reach the boarding area.
    • Guests using wheelchairs may board from the landing across from the regular boarding area.
    • There are 3 steps in the gondola.
    • Guests must be able to move with the assistance of a member of their party.
  • Fortress Explorations
    Type: walkthrough (with stairs)
    • Guests can use the elevator or stairs to go to each floor of the four-story fortress.
    • There are some stairs inside of the facility.
    • There is a ramp from the dock to the deck of the Galleon; however, on board the Galleon there are only stairs.
    • Guests may remain in their wheelchair to enter the attraction; however, some areas are not accessible to Guests who have difficulty walking or negotiating stairs.
  • "The Leonardo Challenge"
    Type: walkthrough (with stairs) / closes at dusk / Japanese language only
    • Guests in a wheelchair may use the elevator.
    • A map for a route without steps is also available. Please contact a Cast Member at the attraction.

American Waterfront

  • Tower of Terror
    Type: free-fall type ride / duration: about 2 min. / vehicle capacity: 22 persons
    • The distance from the entrance to the boarding areas is 170 meters. The boarding areas are on the first and second floors.
    • For the second floor boarding area, Guests must negotiate 34 steps up to the boarding area and 35 steps down to exit.
    • Depending on the location of their seat inside the vehicle, Guests may have to negotiate a maximum of two steps.
    • The seatbelt is a three-point type the same as in a car, fastening from the right shoulder to the left pelvis.
    • During the ride, the vehicle moves strongly.
    • In case of emergency evacuation, Guests must negotiate a narrow passage with many steps to reach the exit.
    • Guests must be able to negotiate stairs and walk by themselves.
    • Guests using motorized wheelchairs must transfer to a regular wheelchair at the entrance of the attraction and wait in line.
    • Guests may not be held in the arms or carried on the back of a member of their party.
  • Toy Story Mania!
    Type: ride with sudden stops and turns (3-D, shooting game) / duration: about 6 minutes / vehicle capacity: 8 persons (wheelchair-accessible vehicle capacity: 6 persons)
    • The vehicle rotates to the right and left. It also shakes during the game.
    • Guests must be able to move with the assistance of a member of their party.
    • Guests must be able to sit without assistance and maintain a stable posture on the vehicle.
    • Guests may not be held in the arms or carried on the back of a member of their party.
    • In case of emergency evacuation, Guests must negotiate one step that is about 24 centimeters high and then three descending steps that are about 18 centimeters high to get down from the vehicle.
      On the way to the exit, Guests must go up and down a box-shaped step that is 22 centimeters high to go over the ride's track. Moreover, Guests must negotiate a passage with an ascending staircase of 6 steps that are about 16 centimeters high.
    • This attraction uses 3-D images.
    • The Closed Caption System (Japanese language only) is available in all the vehicles. To use, please contact a Cast Member when boarding.
    • Guests may remain in their wheelchair to experience the attraction.
      ・When Guests wish to remain seated in their wheelchair, it must be secured to a wheelchair-accessible vehicle by attaching metal clamps to their wheelchair directly.
      ・If a Guest's wheelchair cannot be secured to a wheelchair-accessible vehicle due to its shape, the Guest must transfer to a designated wheelchair for the attraction vehicle.
      ・The Guest in the wheelchair must wait by themselves on the vehicle while it rotates slowly into position to allow the accompanying Guest to board or disembark.
  • Big City Vehicles

    • Foldable, light wheelchairs may be loaded onto the vehicle.
    • Guests must be able to move with the assistance of a member of their party to experience this attraction.
  • DisneySea Electric Railway

    • Guests may remain in their wheelchairs to experience the attraction.
    • One-way trip between American Waterfront station and Port Discovery station.
    • Guests must negotiate stairs (42 steps) or take an elevator to reach the American Waterfront station platform. To use the elevator, contact the nearest Cast Member.
  • Turtle Talk
    Type: theater / show duration: about 12 min. / capacity: 238 persons
    • Guests may remain in their wheelchair to experience the attraction.
    • The theater area is sloped.
  • DisneySea Transit Steamer Line
    Type: ride (boat) / duration: about 13 min. / boat capacity: 49 persons
    • Guests may remain in their wheelchair to experience the attraction.

  • Broadway Music Theatre
    Type: entertainment facility (indoor) / show duration: about 30 min. / capacity: 1,489 persons
    • Seating is available on the orchestra level (first floor) and balcony.
    • The seating area slopes down toward the stage.
    • Guests who wish to remain seated in their wheelchair should contact a Cast Member at the entrance. (Limited availability)
    • The balcony seats can be reached by the staircase with 54 steps or the elevator located on the right after entering the lobby. Space is available only on the first floor for Guests who wish to view the performance while seated in their wheelchair.
  • Dockside Stage
    Type: entertainment facility (outdoor)
    • Guests may remain in their wheelchairs to experience the entertainment.
  • Village Greeting Place
    Type: Disney character greeting facility
    • Guests may remain in their wheelchairs to experience the character greeting.

Port Discovery

  • StormRider
    Type: motion simulator-type ride that shakes strongly / duration: about 5.5 min. / capacity: 122 persons
    • Before boarding the StormRider cabin, the Cast Member explains the "Mission" in Japanese. The explanation is also written in English and Chinese on video monitors. A handheld captioning system is available in Japanese. Please contact a Cast Member at the attraction if you wish to use the equipment.
    • In some scenes, the cabin shakes strongly.
    • Depending on the location of their seat inside the cabin, Guests may have to negotiate a maximum of six steps to exit.
    • Guests must be able to move with the assistance of a member of their party.
    • Guests may not be held in the arms or carried on the back of a member of their party.
  • Aquatopia

    • During boarding and disembarking, the vehicle continues moving along the dock.

    • From the attraction entrance to the boarding area, Guests must negotiate an ascending ramp and 24 steps.
    • The distance from the floor to the step on the vehicle is 18 centimeters.
    • There are two routes to the attraction exit depending on where the Guest disembarks. One route has 24 ascending steps and 23 descending steps.
    • In some scenes, the ride shakes strongly.
    • In case of emergency evacuation, Guests must negotiate a dark, narrow passage with many steps to reach the exit.
    • Guests must be able to move with the assistance of a member of their party.
    • Guests may not be held in the arms or carried on the back of a member of their party.
  • Raging Spirits

Arabian Coast

  • Jasmine's Flying Carpets
    Type: ride that revolves at a high height / duration about 1.5 min. / vehicle capacity: 4 persons
    • It is about 30 centimeters from the boarding area to the vehicle.
    • Guests may remain in their wheelchairs to experience the attraction. (If the Guest's wheelchair is larger than the prescribed size, the Guest must transfer to a designated wheelchair for the attraction.
    • Guests must be able to sit without assistance and maintain a stable posture on the attraction.
    • Guests may not be held in the arms or carried on the back of a member of their party.
  • Sindbad's Storybook Voyage
    Type: ride (boat) / duration: about 10 min. / boat capacity: 24 persons
    • During boarding and disembarking, the boat is stopped; however, Guests must step down about 30 centimeters from the boarding area into the boat and step up to disembark.
    • After disembarking, Guests must go up a staircase of 16 steps and then down 19 steps.
    • In case of emergency evacuation, Guests must negotiate a dark, narrow passage with many steps to reach the exit. (One staircase has 25 steps that are about 20 centimeters high.)
    • Guests must be able to move with the assistance of a member of their party.
    • Guests must transfer to a designated wheelchair for the attraction vehicle. Guests may not use their own wheelchair (personal or Tokyo Disney Resort rental).
  • The Magic Lamp Theater
    Type: theater (3-D) / duration: about 9.5 min. / capacity: 320 persons
    • Captioning system is available in English, Chinese and Japanese. Please contact a Cast Member for the equipment.
    • Guests may remain in their wheelchair to experience the attraction.
    • This is a 3-D motion picture attraction.
  • Caravan Carousel
    Type: revolving ride / duration: about 2.5 min. / capacity: 190 persons
    • Guests must negotiate 25 steps to get up to the second floor boarding area and 25 steps to go down.
    • To get on the carousel animals, Guests must step up onto a stirrup. The stirrup height varies from 35 centimeters to 65 centimeters depending on the animal.
    • The attraction's chariot can accommodate a wheelchair. Guests who wish to remain in their wheelchair to experience the attraction should contact a Cast Member at the attraction entrance.
    • Guests who wish to ride the carousel animals must be able to sit without assistance and maintain a stable posture.

Mysterious Island

  • Journey to the Center of the Earth
    Type: ride that moves at high speed / duration: about 3 min. / vehicle capacity: 6 persons
    • The distance from the floor to the step on the vehicle is 18 centimeters. After disembarking, Guests must go down a staircase of 52 steps in semi-darkness.
    • In some scenes, the ride shakes strongly.
    • In case of emergency evacuation, Guests must negotiate a dark, narrow passage with many steps to reach the exit.
    • Guests must be able to move with the assistance of a member of their party to experience the attraction.
    • Guests may not be held in the arms or carried on the back of a member of their party.
  • 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
    Type: ride / duration: about 5 min. / vehicle capacity: 6 persons
    • From the attraction entrance to the boarding area, Guests must negotiate a descending ramp for about 100 meters.
    • When boarding/disembarking, the distance from the floor to the vehicle is 20 centimeters.
    • In some scenes, the ride shakes strongly.
    • The ride vehicle is small and enclosed.
    • In case of emergency evacuation, Guests must exit the vehicle by climbing up a 1.6-meter, 7-step ladder to the 60-centimeter-square hatch at the top of the vehicle. After that, they must negotiate a narrow passage with many steps to reach the exit.
    • Guests must be able to negotiate a ladder and walk by themselves.
